Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer for the luggage and backpack segment. The candidate should have strong design skills, a good understanding of materials, and the ability to convert concepts into practical, market-ready products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design innovative luggage bags and backpacks as per market trends
Develop product concepts, sketches, and 3D models
Work closely with production and development teams for execution
Conduct research on materials, colours, and customer preferences
Create prototypes and coordinate with vendors for sampling
Ensure product designs meet quality and cost standards
Modify and improve existing product designs
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Rhino, Blender, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, KeyShot
Strong knowledge of product visualization and rendering
Understanding of materials used in luggage and bag manufacturing
Good sense of aesthetics, colour, and functionality
Ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously
Qualification:
Degree/Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in luggage, backpack, or similar consumer product industry
Creative thinker with attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
